How It Feels
The shirt is dyed after it’s sewn, so it comes out of the bag soft—like a favorite tee you’ve owned for years, not stiff and scratchy like most new shirts.
At 6.1 oz it has real weight to it, but it drapes loose instead of clinging, and it gets softer every time you wash it.
How It Fits
Relaxed and a little boxy, with extra room through the chest and body. Most people order their usual size.
Ladies: this is unisex sizing, so your usual size will fit loose and easy. Want it closer to the body? Compare the chest measurement below with a tee you already like. Want it oversized? Go up a size.
Will It Shrink?
It’s pre-washed during dyeing to cut down on shrinking. Washed cold and dried low, it holds its size.
Hot water and high heat can shrink any cotton tee a little—so wash cold and dry low to keep your fit and your print looking right.

How to measure: lay a tee you like flat. Measure across the chest from armpit to armpit—that’s “laid flat.” Measure length from the top of the shoulder by the collar straight down to the bottom hem. Pick the size closest to your shirt. Measurements can vary slightly from shirt to shirt.
Does it run big or small?
It runs relaxed, not small. Order your usual size for the classic Comfort Colors look. Between sizes? Check the chest measurement against a shirt you own.
How should women order?
It’s cut unisex. Your usual size gives a loose, easy fit. For something closer to the body, go by the chest measurement above; for an oversized look, size up.
Is it thick?
It’s 6.1 oz cotton—noticeably heavier than a basic tee, with a soft, washed feel instead of a stiff one.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash cold, inside out, with similar colors. No bleach. Tumble dry low. If you iron, use low heat and stay off the print. Don’t dry clean.
What if it doesn’t fit?
