Lab Testing & Certificates of Analysis

Lab Testing & Certificates of Analysis

Every XGRITX supplement is released on a Certificate of Analysis (COA) that documents heavy-metal, microbial, and potency testing for that production lot. We publish the actual lab reports here, unedited, so warehouse workers, truck drivers, nurses, and tradespeople can see exactly what was tested before it went in the bottle. Built by an operator, not a guru, and that means showing our work.

Heavy MetalsArsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury by ICP-MS against USP limits.
MicrobiologyTotal plate count, yeast & mold, coliforms, E. coli, Salmonella, and Staph aureus.
PotencyActive ingredients verified against the label claim where the certificate includes it.
Lot TraceabilityMatch the lot number on your container to the certificate below.

Reading a certificate: "<LOQ" means the analyte was below the lab's limit of quantification — effectively not detected. Heavy-metal limits are expressed in micrograms per day at the labeled serving size, following USP <2232> and California Proposition 65 thresholds. All lots listed here met every tested specification.

Testing FAQ

What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?

A Certificate of Analysis is a lab report for a specific production lot of a supplement. It records what the lab tested for, the method used, the acceptable limit, and the actual result. A COA lets you check for yourself that a batch met specifications for heavy metals, microbial contamination, and active-ingredient potency before it was released for sale.

Are XGRITX supplements third-party tested?

Most of our powders, capsules, and softgels are tested by ISO/IEC 17025 accredited independent laboratories (Ethos Analytics and Summit Nutritional Laboratories) that are not connected to the manufacturer. Some products, including several of our gummies, are released on a manufacturer certificate of analysis from the producing facility's quality-control lab. The table above says which is which for every product so you never have to guess.

What do you test for?

Every lot on this page has been tested for the four heavy metals of concern (arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury) using ICP-MS against USP <233> or USP <2232> limits, and for microbial contamination (total plate count, yeast and mold, coliforms, E. coli, Salmonella, and Staphylococcus aureus) against USP <2021> and <2022> limits. Where a COA includes it, we also list active-ingredient potency versus the label claim.

Why does the table show different labs for different products?

XGRITX products are produced by more than one manufacturing partner, and each partner uses its own testing arrangement. We publish the certificate we actually received for each lot rather than dressing it up. If a product's testing changes, this page changes with it.

Does testing mean a product is safe for my drug test?

No. These certificates verify contaminants and potency. They do not test for, and cannot guarantee, the outcome of any workplace or DOT drug screen. We choose ingredients with tested workers in mind, but if you are subject to testing, review the full ingredient panel on the label and check with your employer or medical review officer first.

How do I find the lot number on my product?

The lot number and expiration date are printed on the bottom or side of the container. Match it to the Lot column in the table above. If your lot is not listed, email craig@xgritx.com with the product name and lot number and we will send you the certificate for that batch.

Can I request the full lab report?

Yes. Every PDF linked above is the complete certificate as issued. If you want additional documentation, such as a raw-material COA or allergen statement, email craig@xgritx.com.
